Rake-Free Report #15: Rustlers Club Drops $100K Jackpot Bomb on San Antonio Poker Scene
Vegas vibes, local grit, and the quiet rise of a new contender
Yo, what's good poker fam!
So remember last month when I was talking about that mystery club west of 410 with the crazy jackpots? Well, I finally got the green light to name drop - it's Rustlers Club San Antonio, and after checking out their full promo lineup, I gotta say I'm even more impressed than before.
💰 $100K Isn't Just Talk - It's Multiple Ways to Hit
After seeing their actual promo materials, these jackpots are even better than I initially thought. They've got a $100K MEGA Bad Beat for poker running across ALL their poker tables with some solid hit conditions:
In Texas Hold'em: Quad 10s beaten by a higher hand (both hole cards must play)
In 4-Card Omaha: Straight flush beaten by a higher straight flush (must hit on the flop)
And that Texas Bullseye "21" game I mentioned? It's got its own $100K jackpot too, with a trigger condition that's completely unique - player's first three cards need to be suited 7s when the dealer's up card is also a 7 of spades.
Plus the $1,500 mini jackpots are spread across FOUR different games:
Ultimate Texas Hold'em: Royal flush in spades (flopped)
Texas Bullseye "21": First three cards are suited 7s
AstroBac (their Baccarat game): Coming soon
SA 3CP (3-Card Poker): Coming soon
I don't know another club in Texas running jackpots across both poker AND table games like this.
Table Games That Are Actually Worth Playing
I've seen their full lineup now, and these custom games aren't just gimmicks:
Texas Bullseye "21" - Think blackjack but with poker elements mixed in. The win condition for the $1,500 jackpot is getting three suited 7s, but for the big $100K, you need those suited 7s specifically when the dealer's up card is the 7 of spades. Not easy to hit, but that's why it's six figures.
Ultimate Texas Hold'em - Their version has a $1,500 jackpot for a royal flush in spades that's flopped, but the $10K hits if you get any royal flush where one card must play from your hand.
They've also got AstroBac (their Baccarat game) and SA 3CP (3-Card Poker) with jackpots being added soon. Perfect for when you need a break from grinding the poker tables.
🕛 Weekly Schedule Worth Checking Out
After seeing their tournament schedule, I'm impressed by the value:
Tuesdays: $20 NLH Pineapple at 6:30 PM (you get 3 cards, discard 1 before the flop)
Wednesdays: FREE NLH at 6:30 PM with $0 buy-in and actual prizes
Thursdays: $20 PLO with unlimited rebuys at 6:30 PM
Fridays: $60 ROE (Round of Each, alternating NLH and PLO each level)
Saturdays: $20 NLH Unlimited Rebuy at 6:30 PM plus an afternoon $20 NLH at noon
Both Friday and Saturday tournaments have $500 guarantees at noon, and I checked the structures - they're legit. Friday's $60 ROE sounds especially interesting since it switches between Hold'em and Omaha each level.
What really caught my eye is that 100% of buy-ins go to the prize pool in their tournaments - no house fees taken out. When's the last time you saw that in a poker room, oh wait– it’s a membership club!?
💸 Daily Promos I'm Actually Using
They've got some daily promotions for May-June that are worth taking advantage of:
Play for 1 hour, earn a $20 matchplay voucher (daily)
Play for 2 hours, earn a $20 freeplay voucher (daily)
Play for 5 hours, earn $20 freeplay up to 10 times per month
Plus they're running "Rack Attack" on the weekends where they splash $100 in the pot every hour from 2:30-5:30pm and again from 11pm-1am. Nothing complicated - just free money added to pots.
And the kicker? No time charge this month. So you're only paying for the actual game, not hourly fees.
👀 The Setup Is Legit
Now that I've been there a few times, the whole operation is cleaner than I expected. Matt and Louis (the guys you text to RSVP) run a tight ship. Floor staff actually enforces rules, dealers know the games, and the tracking system shows everything from jackpot meters to player rewards in real-time.
They're at 6436 NW Loop 410 in The Village at Ingram Park, and you need a membership and ID to get in (standard Texas social club stuff). But unlike some spots that make you pay a crazy monthly fee, they're focused on getting you to the games with minimal hassle.
🔥 Why This Place Is Different From Other SA Clubs
After checking it out multiple times now, here's what separates Rustlers from the other San Antonio spots:
Those jackpots are FULLY FUNDED and growing - not phantom numbers that'll never hit
The custom games aren't just Texas Hold'em with different names - they're actual unique games
Tournament structures are player-friendly with unlimited rebuys and good starting stacks
Wednesday freerolls that actually don’t require a buy-in– last time i pay $30 for a freeroll…
The tracking system shows EVERYTHING - no mysterious disappearing jackpot funds
What really stands out to me is how they're treating this like a true social gaming club, not just another gambling spot. There's a different vibe when you walk in - like they actually care about building a community of players who enjoy the games themselves, not just the money.
I was talking with one of their founding members, and you can tell they're putting serious thought into what it takes to run a legal, transparent social club in Texas. Everything cycles back into making the club better - from the promos to the jackpots to the tournament structures.
If you're thinking about checking them out, I'd recommend locking in your spot sooner rather than later. They're still building their player base, but from what I hear, they're being selective about membership to maintain the right atmosphere. Text Matt or Louis at (206) 856-4269 or (726) 600-8996 to hold your seat, especially for those weekend tournaments.
I'm back there later this week for the Thursday PLO tournament, then planning to take a shot at that Texas Bullseye jackpot over the weekend. The way these jackpots are growing, somebody's gonna hit one soon.
